Anti-Inflammatory Lemon Beverage
I always have a drink by my side. 95% of the time, it's a non-alcoholic one, but there are days when a
nice cold margarita or moscow mule take its place. This lemon drink is one of my current favorites with summer quickly approaching. It only takes a few minutes to make, and once I've finished drinking it I simply add more seltzer and use it as a seltzer & lemon drink for the rest of the day. Water can just be so boring sometimes, and this drink not only tastes good but is also good for you!

The Star Players:
Turmeric: has many healing properties; helps with inflammation, IBS, joint pain, fatigue, and more!
Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV): helps with diabetes and blood sugar control, heart health, regulates Alkaline pH levels, and more!
Lemon: provides vitamin C, aids digestion, and promotes hydration.
Ingredients:
1-2 T ACV
1-2 shakes turmeric
1 organic lemon
1 T lemon juice
Frozen Meyer lemon
Frozen Cara Cara Orange
Liquid Stevia
Ice
Seltzer, flavor of your choice

Directions:
Measure 1-2 T of Apple Cider Vinegar into a large cup. Add anywhere between a half and a whole sliced fresh lemon, preferably organic. Next, add a shake or two of turmeric. Add in a tablespoon of lemon juice if using only half of a lemon. Then, use a grater to add in frozen lemon and orange to the drink. When you freeze the fruits, put them in with the skin on. The rind has the most flavor and additional health benefits. The reason it's frozen is because it's a lot easier to grate that way! Grate until you have a healthy covering of both in the cup. Add a few ice cubes, then add your seltzer. This is the fun part - you can add whatever flavor you want. The classic flavors I'd recommend are lemon and orange, since they pick up on the other flavors of the drink. I made it yesterday with the watermelon margarita flavor from Poland Springs, which was also delicious. You can also be bold and do half-sies of multiple flavors! Once everything is in the cup, give it a stir and add stevia to taste. Drink up!
